RecycleWise is designed to keep useful items in circulation, not to transfer unsafe or illegal goods.

Do not list

• Illegal items or stolen goods.
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives or fireworks.
• Leaking, unknown, contaminated or hazardous chemicals.
• Unsealed paint, solvents, fuels, gas bottles or pressurised containers unless a verified specialist collection route is used.
• Damaged batteries, swollen electronics or unsafe electrical goods.
• Recalled, pest-infested, mould-contaminated or unsafe furniture.
• Food, medicines, medical devices, bodily fluids or biohazards.

Required behaviour

Use accurate descriptions, disclose faults, follow local law, and report unsafe listings. RecycleWise may hide or remove listings and restrict accounts when safety rules are breached.
